einigen F\u00e4llen, und zwar bei einer Ansteckung mit Hochrisiko-HPV-Typen, k\u00f6nnen kleine Verletzungen in der Schleimhaut des Geb\u00e4rmutterhalses entstehen. Der Ernst dieser Verletzungen h\u00e4ngt von der Zellmenge und der Stelle ab, an der sich die Zellen in der Schleimhaut ver\u00e4ndern (infizierte Zellen).<br>Ein Gro\u00dfteil dieser Verletzungen heilt jedoch wieder ab, wohingegen andere unver\u00e4ndert bleiben oder sich zu Krebsvorstufen entwickeln (ver\u00e4nderte Zellen). J\u00e4hrlich entstehen bei 383.000 Frauen in Europa\u2075 diese Art von Schleimhautverletzungen, wovon sich gl\u00fccklicherweise nur ein kleiner Teil \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von mehreren Jahren zu Krebs entwickeln wird. Nichtsdestotrotz wird j\u00e4hrlich bei ungef\u00e4hr 34.900 Frauen in Europa die Diagnose Geb\u00e4rmutterhalskrebs gestellt.<sup>5<\/sup><\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n f\u00fchren und Verletzungen verursachen, die sich zu Krebsvorstufen ver\u00e4ndern und sich letztlich zu Vagina- oder Vulvakrebs entwickeln k\u00f6nnen.<br>Anal- und Penistumore werden oft von einer HPV-Infektion ausgel\u00f6st, jedoch z\u00e4hlen sie zu den selteneren Krebsarten.<br>J\u00fcngste Studien zeigen, dass auch Kopf- und Halstumore die Folge einer HPV-Infektion sein k\u00f6nnen, wobei die Viren bei M\u00e4nnern und Frauen durch oralen Sex \u00fcbertragen werden.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"mh-accordion k\u00f6nnen gutartige, aber nicht weniger l\u00e4stige Symptome wie Genitalwarzen verursachen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"mh-spacer mh-spacer--fe4036aa28e32b1e40f2020e2e82e6f3\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Zeit, die zwischen der Infektion und den sichtbaren Symptomen der Genitalwarzen liegt, betr\u00e4gt mindestens sechs Wochen. Abh\u00e4ngig vom Ausma\u00df des Befalls kann man sich f\u00fcr medizinische Behandlungen oder chirurgische Eingriffe entscheiden. Letztere gelten als sehr schmerzhaft und schlie\u00dfen einen R\u00fcckfall nicht aus. In 25 bis 67% der F\u00e4lle kommen die Warzen innerhalb von 3 Monaten nach der Behandlung wieder zur\u00fcck.<sup>3<\/sup><br>Gl\u00fccklicherweise k\u00f6nnen sich diese l\u00e4stigen Warzen manchmal auch spontan verringern werden oder vollst\u00e4ndig verschwinden.<br>J\u00e4hrlich werden in Europa bei ungef\u00e4hr 847.000 M\u00e4nnern und Frauen Genitalwarzen diagnostiziert, die durch HPVausgel\u00f6st wurden. Der Entstehung von 90% der Genitalwarzen kann durch eine HPV-Impfung vorgebeugt werden.<sup>5<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"mh-spacer mh-spacer--0964ebd1ebd08155d846a1d84403df7d\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
